House of Protection

House of Protection is a Los Angeles-based duo combining the caustic grit of industrial and hardcore punk with the sonic world-building of bands like Massive Attack and Cocteau Twins. The project of Stephen Harrison (formerly of the Chariot and Fever 333) and Aric Improta (Night Verses, Fever 333), HOP released their first single, "It's Supposed to Hurt," in early 2024. "Learn to Forget" and "Pulling Teeth" arrived shortly thereafter, with all three cuts appearing on the EP Galore. House of Protection continued to evolve on 2025's Outrun You All EP, an assured set of songs that added elements of trap, U.K. trip-hop, post-punk, and art rock to their expansive oeuvre.
