In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. My parents took us to see David Helfgott perform when I was 8 or 9 (the guy they made the movie Shine about with Geoffrey Rush). That image of the eccentric piano genius stuck with me really strongly, cause it's what I've been aiming for ever since! What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Duncan Browne, Duncan Browne Duncan Browne has it all - incredible guitar chops, perfectly arch and sophisticated lyrics, a clear crystal voice, and on this album he also starts to get funky and a bit 70s prog, which makes for an incredible combination. Tell us why you chose this song. “Gayle” I really threw the kitchen sink at this song dedicated to my high school best friend. Some great shredding from Mikey Young on guitar, and I'm proud of the horn arrangement. Lovely vibraphone by Clare Moore too!
